Katie is an anaesthetic registrar based in the Bristol Deanery, having previously undertaken a Fellowship and MSc in perioperative medicine at UCLH.

She is Lead Educator for the UCL/RCoA MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) ‘Perioperative Medicine in Action’. She chairs both TRIPOM (Trainees with an interest in perioperative medicine) and Research and Audit Federation of Trainees (RAFT) respectively, and is on the Perioperative Quality Improvement Programme (PQIP) team. Katie is on the RCoA Anaesthetists in Training​ committee, directs the RCoA Bulletin Perioperative Journal Watch publication, is Editor for the RCoA GAS newsletter and sits on the RCoA Bulletin Editorial Board. Her career interests lie in perioperative medicine, clinical research and education.
