Dr Maurizio Cecconi

Dr Maurizio Cecconi is an honorary senior lecturer in anaesthesia and intensive care of the St George's University of London and a consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at St George's Hospital NHS Trust. He is the Chair of the Cardiovascular Dynamics Section of the European Society of Intensive Care, an associate editor for Intensive Care Medicine. He has collaborated with several perioperative, anaesthesia and critical care journals. His research focuses on cardiovascular physiology, high risk surgery and critical illness. He is author of more than 100 publications in the field of perioperative medicine and intensive care.
