Chair, Medical Technologies Advisory Committee, National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE).

Bruce Campbell became inaugural Chair of the NICE Medical Technologies Advisory Committee in 2009: this committee selects and evaluates devices and diagnostics which may have advantages for patients and for the health service. He has also chaired the NICE Interventional Procedures Advisory Committee since 2002, which produces guidance for the NHS on the safety and efficacy of procedures. He is a consultant vascular surgeon in Exeter.
