Professor Simon Finfer
Simon Finfer is a Specialist in Intensive Care at Royal North Shore Hospital and a Professor at Sydney Medical School and the George Institute for Global Health at the University of Sydney. His major academic interest is the design and conduct of large scale randomised controlled trials in critical care. He was the lead investigator for the SAFE study – the first large scale trial in critical care. He is an Editor for The Oxford Textbook of Critical Care and currently a Guest Editor for The New England Journal of Medicine
