Desirée Chappell

Desirée Chappell is a full-time CRNA in Louisville, Kentucky. She is the project team leader for Anesthesiology Consultants Enterprises and an Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) team leader for a successful program at Norton Audubon Hospital. In addition, she is active in the Norton Healthcare System ERAS initiative.
Desirée is also involved with ERAS on a national level as an elected member for the American Society for Enhanced Recovery (ASER) Board of Directors as well as a member of the Evidenced Based Perioperative Medicine (EBPOM)-USA Advisory Panel.
As a frequent speaker and presenter at national and international conferences, Desiree’s passion for the beneficial outcomes of a successfully implemented ERAS program has been widely shared. Her vision is to one day see ERAS established as a standard of care for ALL surgical patients.
