Krishna Moorthy specialises in surgery for cancers of the oesophagus and stomach. His research interests are in patient safety and quality improvement. He leads the PREPARE for Surgery prehabilitation programme, which won the 2017 BMJ Surgical Team of the Year and Patient Participation Awards.
